This 35-minute TRX cardio workout is perfect for beginners to experienced. I break down all the TRX moves, showing low and high impact options, with even a quick tutorial on how to length the straps quickly.

Through the whole workout I cue you on form, and how to ramp it up, or tone it down. It’s the perfect all levels workout.

It’s my birthday tomorrow.

I’m not sure how that happened.

First I’m not sure how it became March so quickly, and second how I became 48 so quickly?

Now, I realize that 48 is not that old.

In fact, I don’t totally hate almost being 50.

I kinda like being in my late forties, or more that I like the wisdom that we have in our middle age, compared to the lack thereof that our pain in the ass, self absorbed, 20-year old selves didn’t have.

BUT… I just don’t know how it came so fast.

It’s fitting that Disney and Oprah open their new movie this weekend called “A Wrinkle in Time”.

Cause yeah Oprah, there has been some serious wrinkles in my timeframe.

I know you can relate.

We all wonder, at some point in our lives, “Where the f*ck did the time go?”.

There is a paradox, to getting older, though.

Scientists have found a clear, linear relationship between age and mental health: the older people get the happier they feel (read more here).

There’s some nice silver for our lining.

So cheers.

Here’s to getting older, to not being able to read the small print anymore, to wondering (every-so-often) how we can stop that damn clock from ticking so fast, and to never stop laughing at ourselves.

We had a bash at our place last weekend.

It was The Studio’s first birthday, and we invited all of our member’s to a party at our home.

And boy did they party!

In addition to a lot of wine of being drunk, we also had a fun awards ceremony handing out awards from the “Most Vocal in a Workout”, to the “Best in Sweat”, and all the way to more “serious” and celebrated award, “Most Improved”.

Hosting the party, having such a great turnout, and then watching everyone interact on the night of made my heart swell.

I realized that evening that I have achieved one of my goals in life – to create an awesome place for people to workout… no matter what their fitness level is.

A comfortable and fun place to sweat.

It’s super cool when a plan comes together 🙂

If you know me then you know that I am in love with… my husband, my dog and my TRX.

In that order too.

Or at least until I can teach the TRX how to vacuum 🙂  Hehe, just joking.

However, that would be super cool if my TRX could vacuum. Just saying if the makers of TRX are reading.

Anyways, the reason I love the TRX so much is that it makes your body do all the stabilizing. This, in turn, makes more muscles work.

And more muscles working makes me VERY happy.

TRX’s motto is “Make your body the machine”, and that’s just what this workout does.

For 50-minutes we power through 15 exercises, for three rounds.

It is sweaty, awesome fun!
