Join me for a quick after a workout, total body stretch routine for women over 40.

DAY 13⁣ – FIT IN 15

This great little stretch routine will hit all the muscles, no matter what workout you just did.

This is also a great mid-day “I’ve got to move my body” series, or an early morning or PM stretch.

Basically, anytime you can fit this in your body will thank you for it!

For 12 minutes we target the hips, glutes, legs, low back, as well as all of the muscles of the upper body.

Fun, sweaty, effective and easy to follow cardio workout for women over 40.

DAY 4 – FIT IN 15 CHALLENGE

I did the beginning of this workout three effing times and I still could have re-done it.

Sigh.

Because we ladder our time with each set I pulled out my new GymBoss timer that can take more than 2 different interval times.

Which is a totally awesome tool, if you are smart.

I guess I am not because I miscalculated the times for all the sets and about 10-minutes in I realized that we weren’t laddering down in time. So, I erased that footage and re-did the warm-up and workout again… only to screw that up again.

I re-filmed the warm-up and first circuit AGAIN and then AGAIN I realized that the timed intervals weren’t what they should be.

But by then I was so over re-doing the warm-up that I said “screw it”, paused the camera, switched out the timers, and continued on.

Other than that the workout rocks.

5. Alt reverse lunges with twist

Arm Workout for Women Over 40

An arm workout to end all arm workouts! Join me for a 30-minute arm workout, specifically for women over 40.

Okay, I ain’t gonna lie. This workout kicked my butt… or more specifically my biceps and triceps.

I decided to mix things up and this whole workout is done ladder style. If you’re not sure what that is, perfect. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to this.

And… if you do know what that means, then you know what the treat of a workout that you are about to begin.

THE WORKOUT

1. Tricep dips
2. Bicep curls
3. Tricep extensions
4. Palms down curls
5. 1 arm side push up
6. Other side
7. Hammer curls
8. Tricep push ups
9. Forward leaning curls
10. Skullcrushers
11. 1 arm concentration curls (this one killed my biceps!)
12. Other arm
