We begin with a brutal but much-needed glute activation series, followed by a strength workout alternating between the upper and lower body.

The glute activation series is something I recommend everyone add to the weekly routine if you suffer from sore knees and or low back pain. In addition, the muscles we hit with this series may help strengthen some areas of the hips and glutes that can trigger knee and back pain.

We start with a Tabata, booty band optional, and then move into a strength workout using your resistance band.

This is a great workout for when you’re travelling, or if you just want to leave the dumbbells alone for a workout.

I had so much fun filming this BOSU ball, booty band HIIT workout. And… while the title does say for women over 40, if you’re younger I think this will still give ya a run for your money.

We start with high intensity, yet easy on the joints, cardio session using your booty band, so the glutes and core get LIT up.

From there we move onto the BOSU for some heart-pumping, calorie-busting cardio.
