50-Minute HIIT Workout for Fat Loss

Loving husband drives us everywhere. I never drive if he’s with me.

And it’s not because he insists, it’s because I insist.

I hate driving.

It’s boring, I get all cramped up, my low back starts to hurt, my mind starts to wander, I get frustrated with other drivers.

But, when he drives I don’t mind being in the car at all.

I play with the stereo, I keep him entertained, I people watch, catch up on my emails and schedule my social media.

It’s a very productive time for me.

Now, with that said, the other part of driving I despise is getting gas.

Ugh. Call me lazy. Call me a princess. Call me spoiled. Just don’t call me to put gas in your car.

So, to avoid getting gas I strategically use up all the gas in my car until Loving Husband needs it.

I know every Tuesday night he needs my car to get to volleyball. Giving me a full week to use up all the gas so when he gets in the car the gas light is on and he has to get gas.

I have been doing this for months! And it works – every week!

Let me tell you, it’s not easy either.

I have to plan just the right amount of automobile activity that will get that stupid light to go on by Tuesday.

It takes planning and a bit of luck.

But, I am pretty damn proud of myself so far.

Not only do we train the muscles, kick up the cardio and burn some calories, I also finish this one off with an awesome quad finisher.

Sometimes I amaze myself.

And not in the “good” way, where you did something awesome and are pretty damn proud of yourself.

No instead, in the “OMG you are an idiot, how the hell do you get through life?” kinda way.

Case in point, this new headset mic I bought.

I wore it through this entire workout forgetting to turn it on.

Swift, eh?

Now, you may be thinking (cause you’re really nice & sweet) “PJ, don’t get so down on yourself. It turned out fine.”.

To which I would love to thank you for your encouraging words, but this is the third time I have done this.

First time can be labeled as a learning experience, second time a mistake, anything thereafter is just plain ol’ dumb-ass.

In addition to these fiascos, I have also turned the mic on while neglecting to turn on the receiver. Creating a whole workout with just white noise.

Sadly I had no idea until I got home, uploaded the video and started editing it.

After a few choice words I then headed back to The Studio to re-film it. Double checking every single step prior to filming so I got it right this time.

I also cannot figure out where to put the mouthpiece so you don’t hear me gasping for breath through the entire workout.

All-in-all every workout (so far) has been a mic disaster.

And so I apologize to you, my loyal exerciser, and I promise to get this damn mic figured out.

I refuse to let it win.
