I had to film this workout twice.

And this time it wasn’t because I forgot to turn the mic on, or I forgot to plug the mic in, or I had dropped the camera, or the batteries had died on my headset.

Nope. This time is was because I accidentally deleted the workout from my camera.

The kicker is I didn’t even clue in while I was happily deleting two workouts from my camera (before I had even uploaded them. So, yes to add insult to injury I had to re-do two workouts.).

I figured it out, instead, two hours later while driving home from The Studio.

Something clicked in my limited grey matter and my eyes popped as I realized what I did.

Do you ever wonder what madness possesses your menopausal mind too?

Anyways, I had to re-do it and when I did I tweaked it a bit as well.

For instance, on the first one I recorded I never did ten minutes of ab drills at the end. And, I believe, this is the icing on the cake for this workout!

So, I guess in a way it was good I lost my brain for a while.

Hope you had a great Easter!

Since loving husband is not eating processed sugar I made him healthy chocolate cookies as our Easter treat.

They were really good too!

Whereas with typical cookies I can eat until my stomach bursts, these healthier ones I was full after two.

WOW! Seriously, that never happens with me and cookies.

Healthy-Chocolate-Chip-Cookies-Recipe

Health(ier) Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

Ingredients Directions
3 cups blanched almond flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup unrefined coconut oil, melted
1.5 cups 70% or higher dark chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In medium sized bowl combine the dry ingredients.
3. In a smaller bowl beat the eggs, syrup and vanilla with a hand mixer.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and beat with a hand mixer until combined.
5. Pour coconut oil in blend.
6. Stir in chocolate chips.
7. Drop balls of dough on a parchment-lined cookie sheet
8. Bake for 15 minutes
Makes 24 cookies

I’m just waiting for loving husband to come home so we can have dinner.

Tonight’s meal is salmon, roasted veggies and a spinach salad, and… if he eats his salad tonight this will be 3 nights in a row that he has eaten green veggies!

What??!!

Who is this man, and what the f*ck did he do to my husband?

Hahaha, seriously though.

This is a man who thinks M&M’s are a great snack option (cause they are vegetarian, he claims), and that chocolate cake is perfectly fine as an appetizer.

But, I won’t get too excited just yet. Cause technically we haven’t had dinner yet, so technically he hasn’t eaten his salad yet.

I’ll keep ya posted.
